With cylindrical powers of -5.50D and -5.75D, accurate correction requires careful consideration of both the cylindrical power and its axis.
The customer had previously been using standard prescription swimming goggles that corrected only myopia.
Although these goggles provided better vision than non-prescription goggles, the customer still experienced considerable difficulty seeing clearly while swimming.
This is understandable.
